Advocacy and strategic communications professional with 10+ years of experience shaping policy dialogue, public engagement and development narratives across Africa.

Extensive experience working with governments, international NGOs, civil society organizations and development partners to advance advocacy campaigns, strengthen accountability and promote inclusive policy frameworks.

My work sits at the intersection of policy, communications, and development impact—translating complex humanitarian and development issues into compelling narratives that influence policymakers, partners, and the public.

Currently, I serve as Assistant Director for Public Communications and Media Relations at the County Government of Turkana, where I support strategic communication and storytelling around public health, economic resilience, and infrastructure development initiatives. My role involves working closely with government leadership, development partners, and the media to amplify evidence-based narratives that strengthen transparency and public engagement.

Previously, at inABLE, I led advocacy communications that advanced digital accessibility and disability inclusion across Africa. I supported the launch of the continent’s first ICT Accessibility Standards and helped coordinate the Inclusive Africa Conference, which convened policymakers, innovators, and development leaders from more than 65 countries to advance dialogue on inclusive technology and innovation.

Earlier in my career with Ogilvy Public Relations, I supported communications for development initiatives and community programs implemented in partnership with organizations such as Safaricom Foundation, M-Pesa Foundation, and the The Coca-Cola Africa Foundation.

I am passionate about using communication as a tool to elevate marginalized voices, strengthen accountability, and influence policy conversations that improve lives.
